Its been a long time
I haven't been here in a while, nothing really to write about, or too much stuff to write about but too caught up in school. The quarter is almost over and I can't wait. I finally got my hours for Black Friday and I work 4am - 4pm. could be worse.
Basketball season has started and its like heaven. Basketball season=best season of the year. I still love the Lakers and the Sonics. Still hate Clay Bennett and the OKC Thunder, which by the way is a WNBA team name. Husky basketball has also started, a young team picked to make the tournament didn't look too good in the first regular season game of the season. A 6-point loss to Portland, a team that was voted in the bottom half of a mediocre WCC conference, is not good. There's another game tonight against Cleveland State and my UW Huskies are favored by 7.5 points.
Another story: UW favored by 9.5 in the Apple Cup. My take on the game? Here it goes: if both teams could score negative points, it would happen. if both teams only play between the 30's, it can happen. if tyrone willingham is too afraid to show up, it would make the husky fans sooooooo happy. Finally, will the game win in a 0-0 tie? it has happened before but with defenses this bad, it can't possibly happy, could it? Could it be a battle of the kickers, in which the huskies with ryan perkins would lose miserably.
So cougars, see you in Martin Stadium for a game that will go down in history as one of the worst ever.
